Premium Charcoal Full Carpet Kit, 66-77 Ford Bronco

The previous owner of my 1973 Bronco had carpeted the floor and wheel wells with what looked like some left over carpet that they had laying around. After I stripped out the old carpet and removed the adhesive residue, I began looking for something to replace it with. I found the charcoal full carpet kit offered by TBPs. I was a little skeptical when I read the description of it being a one piece install (the wheel wells and tailgate were separate pieces). You see, I had just finished adding carpet to my 1989 Jeep Wrangler (yea, I know, how can I mention Jeep in a Bronco review). Anyway the Jeep carpet kit came in two pieces which made it fairly easy to install. When I looked at the Bronco floor and all the different contours in the wheel wells, the step down into the foot wells etc, I wasn't sure how well a one piece kit would match and fit all the details of the floor. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the new carpet from TBPs and laid it out. It really did conform to every contour of the Bronco floor and fit perfectly. The additional insulation pads for the passenger and driver foot wells were an added bonus. For some extra insulation against noise and heat, I bought some rolls of Reflectix insulation from Home-Depot and covered everything that was covered by the carpet. I used 3M 90 adhesive spray to secure the insulation to the floor and used rolls of double stick carpet tape to secure the carpet to the insulation. I was very happy with the final result which looks great. The carpet even gives my Bronco a "new car smell" if you can believe it.
