1974 Ford Broncos were the last year to come with a points ignition. Like the year before, 74 Broncos were now offered with a 200 cu. in. when opting for the 6-cylinder option. Also, the two-spoke steering wheel found on 66-73 Broncos was tossed aside and replaced by the thicker centered steering wheel that was at the time in use by Ford trucks. This steering wheel eliminated the metal horn buttons found on earlier models and replaced it with a rubber horn pad, giving a more modern look to the steering wheel.
