These leaf springs are well-made and install with zero drama. The ride is much improved over the stock leaf with an 'add-a-leaf' installed and the lift is exactly as advertised. A few tips to help with install:
- consider ordering new leaf shackles. Getting the bushing out of 40-50 year old shackles is a major headache and time consumer. I didn't order new ones, and wish I had spent the $35. New ones are made to accept a modern urethane bushing.
- Its not addressed in the instructions, but take a look at your E-brake cables before starting. If they are the factory length cables, you will likely need to re-route them or replace them with longer ones (TBP carries longer ones). Either way, plan on releasing tension or removing the cables at the spreader bar.
