Zinc Anode Kit for Aluminum Radiators - V8 or 6cyl

New 1/4 inch NPT Zinc Anode Kit for 66-77 Ford Broncos with Aluminum Radiator. This Zinc Anode Kit replaces the 0.25 inch NPT Petcock Drain in the radiator. This anode kit is designed to protect the radiator and other aluminum components of the cooling system from electrolysis. With the increased use of Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy parts being used in the early Bronco cooling system (Radiators, Water Pumps, Heater Cores, etc) these Early Broncos are more susceptible to electrolysis damage than ever before. Electrolysis can eat away at the aluminum components of your cooling system causing premature failure. With this zinc anode system, the electrolysis eats at the zinc anode rather than the aluminum radiator, water pup or heater core. When the zinc anode has been completely eroded, simply replace it with another one for continued electrolysis protection.
