This lockout plate mounts into the back of the turn signal switch housing on the factory steering column to lock out the column shifter for Automatic Transmissions. This lockout plate is designed to prevent the automatic column shifter in your early Bronco from being able to shift without first pulling the shifter handle toward you to release the lockout.
