This boot is designed for Early Broncos that have a 2" diameter steering column. The factory steering column utilized a 2.25" boot, therefore if the boot was re-used for a tilt column install, it fit very loose. Tom's is proud to now offer a proper fitting boot for these smaller diameter columns (word it the way you want of course). This boot works great with all of our tilt columns!
