This stainless steel 23-gallon fuel tank includes key components such as a drain plug, fuel pickup, sending unit, filler vent, and EVAP connections. It is compatible with or without a body lift. To ensure proper fuel flow, the fuel pump’s sock filter should be positioned about 0.5 inches above the tank bottom, preventing pump damage. Before installation, the tank should be thoroughly cleaned to remove any debris that could clog the filter.
During installation, wrap the power wire securely and replace old fuel lines with high-pressure rubber ones. Check the sending unit’s calibration, ensuring it reads 10 ohms when full and 70 ohms when empty. Attach the tank using J-bolts and confirm all hoses and lines are properly connected without interference.
