How to install gas pedal spring on a 1966-1977 Early Ford Bronco

Installing the 66-77 Ford Bronco accelerator pedal spring is easier done with the gas pedal assembly uninstalled from the Bronco’s firewall, but can be installed with the pedal assembly already mounted.

First, you will want to install the straighter of the two ends of the gas pedal spring in through the bottom of the gas pedal. Slide the accelerator spring all the way up, and then secure the hook end underneath the throttle pedal shaft.
