Check out 4x4Review.com's review of our 8-point Family Cage.

Family Style 8-Point Interior Bar for the 66-77 Classic Ford Bronco. This bar provides 8 points of contact with the floor, giving it the highest level of protection of any of our interior bars. It is also easily one of the best looking Interior bars on the market. Comes bare metal & unassembled. Requires welding. Bars are all pre bent and pre cut.

We offer our interior bars unassembled for two very good reasons. The first is that they can be shipped using standard FedEx shipping service versus the much more expensive truck freight option. The second is that many Bronco owners have the tools and skills to weld their own bars together. So, by selling our interior bars unassembled, this allows these Bronco owners the chance to save some good money. Of course, our interior bars are so well priced that even if you have to pay someone else to weld it for you, you can still save a good amount of cash.

When installed correctly, this interior bar will allow installation of the factory hard top or any of the common brand soft tops. However, you will not be able to fold your soft top down without disconnecting the support rods of the soft top first.

Our new DELUXE Interior Bar Kit (#1418D) includes a full Gusset Kit (#1407) to reinforce the corners of the bar.  It also includes two Side Weld-On Grab Handles (#1397) and two Front Weld-On Grab Handles (#1398).  To purchase the deluxe kit, select it from the drop-down when ordering.

Looks great, after a little trimming and fixing a few fish mouths that were crooked it fit together well.

This cage went together very nice. Watch the TBP YouTube video for tips and tricks. Like the video says, there will be some custom fitting involved. I had to cut down the front down bars. The rest went together pretty smoothly. Depending on what angles you're looking for, there may be some other slight modifications. I think I also had to trim up one fish mouth but I'm very happy at how well this went together and the fit. Take notes when you watch video about clearance for wiper motor cover, window cranks, e-brake etc. Write this info down and keep it in mind when you are putting together and you too will be happy with your new cage. I took out top bolt that mounts e-brake bracket to bottom of dash and turned the bracket slightly and put bolt in another hole that was already there. I also took my time to make sure I liked the angles of the front down bars to make sure I could still use my window cranks. The glove box has limited opening but I expected that. There are some creative ways others have gotten around this but it doesn't bother me.
