While the included instructions suggest installing the crush nuts using 5/16 and 7/16 box-end wrenches, real-world testing has shown that a nutsert tool provides the correct fit and the most reliable installation. Standard wrenches do not align properly and make crushing the insert difficult, so a dedicated nutsert tool is strongly recommended.
