Vent Window Seals (does both doors)

Just rebuilt a pair of wing windows since the new ones are so spendy. This is a high quality kit, but don't expect to speed through the process. You will want to take your time and make sure all is aligned up perfectly or you'll just end up being disappointed. A couple tips as my first attempt wasn't successful. first- when installing the 5 rivets on the first seal, the new strip probably won't line up exactly with the holes. If you attempt to install "as is" the seal will wrinkle as I found out. My next attempt I slightly drilled out the holes to align, after this the strip laid down perfectly after riveting. Second, when installing the glass into the frame, it doesn't want to stay put. I ended up using a slightly thicker glass tape, adhesive and used a large wood clamp (top and bottom) and made sure it was compressed and let dry overnight. Very satisfied with end product and it saved me a pile of cash.
