5.0L Coyote Engine Conversion

A complete 5.0L Coyote swap kit for the Ford Bronco typically includes engine mounting plates or towers, motor mount isolators, and header options designed for the Bronco's chassis dimensions. The Gen 3 5.0L Coyote produces 450–480 horsepower in stock form from a modern Mustang GT donor, a significant upgrade over the original early Bronco 302's roughly 200 hp. In a lighter early Bronco body, the power-to-weight ratio makes this swap extremely potent. Additional tuning and supporting modifications can push output higher.

Common transmission choices for a Coyote-swapped early Bronco include the Tremec T56 or TR3650 manual transmissions and the 6R80 or 10R80 automatic. Adapter plates or custom crossmembers are required to mate the transmission to the Bronco's chassis. The 6R80 or 10R80 transmissions must come from a F150 4x4 application for proper fitment.

The 5.0L Coyote is a fuel-injected engine by design and requires an EFI system to operate. Carbureted Coyote setups do not exist in any meaningful production form.
