Just finished installing a new windshield on my 1971 Bronco. Looks great. I did go with the clear windshield instead of the tinted one. So at the moment, the glass is so clean it doesn't even look like there is a windshield there. A couple of notes on the install. First, Tom's Bronco glass installation video was very informative. In their video they demonstrate how to use the rope-in-tool, which is an absolute necessity. But they don't use the hook tool (part #1647) which I also found very helpful. In the installation video, after the glass/gasket are in place in the window opening, the guys from TBP make it look pretty easy to pull out the rope and seat the gasket. For me that wasn't quite the case. They are right that the corners are the hardest spot to pull out the rope. But in my case, the bottom edge and sides of the glass were just as hard to pull the rope from. Helpful tip here, be sure to wear some good work gloves when pulling on the rope. I made the mistake of wearing a thin pair of those surgical gloves so I wouldn't get fingerprints all over the glass and ended up with a couple of good size blisters on both hands. Anyway, I used the hook tool to help with pulling out the rope in those troublesome areas. I was very happy with the finished look.
