If you are installing a high horsepower V8 and want to use an automatic, this transmission is your best choice. The C6 conversion will be 2-1/2 inches longer than your stock transmission. This kit includes the adapter housing, spud shaft and necessary bearing seal and gasket.
NOTE: This kit will ONLY work with a Transmission from a 4-wheel Drive

Technical Specs
The bottom of this cast adapter housing is not identical to a factory adapter housing. The bushings and washers that go underneath this adapter housing will need to be trimmed and beveled in order for proper fitment. In addition, this kit uses smaller diameter mounting bolts and the sleeve provided for this kit will not install directly into the sleeve provided with the transfer case mount set. One would need to reduce the outside diameter of the sleeve provided in the C6 kit to fit into the sleeve provided in the transfer case mount set. A lathe is handy for this. We are working on a replacement sleeve for this issue.
