Steering Wheel Horn Grounding Instructions for 74-77 Ford Broncos
When installing our 9050/9051 series Steering Wheel on your 1974-77 Bronco (or anytime you are using a horn relay), you will need to ground the horn button. There is a red wire included with the adapter kit. One end should mount to the back side of the horn button. The other end should be cut and stripped to reveal the bare wire. It should be wrapped around one of the three adapter mounting bolts. Alternatively, an eyelet end could be installed instead of stripping and pinching the wire on the mounting bolt for a cleaner installation.
