Meet The TOMS OFFROAD Leadership Team
Walt Wimmer
CEO
My passion for Broncos began at an early age, inspired by my dad, Tom Wimmer, the founder of TOMS OFFROAD. Some of my earliest memories include riding in the back of his 1976 Bronco and exploring the cardboard boxes and storage areas of our original shop. I was fortunate to grow up immersed in the offroad and restoration world, surrounded by Broncos, the TOMS crew, and the incredible Bronco community.
My journey with TOMS OFFROAD officially started in 8th grade when I took on my first job working for my dad. My first car was a 1976 Bronco, and I loved learning to drive in it and creating unforgettable memories throughout high school. Selling it in 2007 to help pay for college remains one of my biggest regrets. During high school and college, I spent my summers working at the shop, deepening my connection to the brand and the legacy my dad built.
Professionally, I’ve held brand marketing roles at adidas, worked as a freelance marketer, and ran my own real estate investment company. Today, I’m proud to call Southern Oregon home again, where I live with my wife and two kids. When I’m not at the shop or behind the wheel of my 1971 Bronco, I'm hanging out with family and friends, or you’ll find me outdoors: running, playing soccer, hiking, or mountain climbing.
As CEO of TOMS OFFROAD, I’m honored to carry on my dad’s legacy and lead the strategic direction, operations, and growth of an offroad and restoration brand with nearly 50 years of history. I oversee all aspects of the business, including finance, sales, marketing, and operations, while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in customer service, quality, and community.

Broncos have always been a big part of my life. Some of my oldest memories as a child include riding in my Dad’s 1976 Bronco and running around playing at the original shop on Sage Road. It all seemed so normal at the time but as I’ve grown older I realized how lucky I am to be a part of the TOMS OFFROAD Crew and bronco community.
I began working at TOMS OFFROAD in the summers while in high school and then college. I unfortunately never had a bronco of my own, until recently. When my Dad Tom finally retired he left behind his 1976 to me. I don’t drive it as much as I’d like to but I often joke with people that it belongs in a museum because of its extensive history.
Professionally, I’ve worked a variety of jobs that were heavily customer service based. In 2020 my path took me back home to Southern Oregon to work full time at TOMS OFFROAD. I returned to my roots working the first 2 years in the warehouse. As my Dad transitioned into retirement I carefully learned as much as I could about the business and worked in several more departments as well as helping with administrative duties. Today, as CEO of TOMS OFFROAD alongside my brother Walt, it is an honor to carry on our Dad’s legacy.

Broncos and Classic Ford Trucks have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey started with a 1965 F100 SWB 2WD, my first truck, which I sold shortly after turning 16 to buy my dad’s 1979 F150 4x4. I was always drawn to these vehicles. One of my father's friends had a yellow 1967 Bronco that he’d drive over on nice days, and I remember how much I loved that truck. In high school, my best friend Matt Hardy bought a 1975 Bronco Ranger. It quickly became the vehicle of choice for every adventure. Since Matt was a couple of years older and got his license when I was still in eighth grade, I rode along with him on countless trips, fishing, hunting, camping, all in that Bronco.
After high school, I enrolled in college with plans to become a high school teacher and coach, but life had other ideas. Following my parents’ divorce, I moved home at the end of my junior year to help my mom. Around that time, Matt was working at TOMS and offered to get me a part-time job. I started there in 2005, fully intending to return to school but something changed. Working under Tom Wimmer, one of the most selfless and inspiring bosses I’ve ever known, I found a new path. I went full-time in 2006, starting in the warehouse doing everything from picking parts and quality control to tearing down used doors, cleaning chrome, and rebuilding latches and regulators, back when these parts weren’t available new.
In 2008, I bought my first Bronco and completed a full frame-off restoration: 5-speed, 351W, 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a 5.5" lift with extended arms, and chromoly axles with lockers. I sold it in 2013 after the birth of my first son. Since then, I’ve had several Broncos, including my current project: a 1971 Bronco getting a full restoration with a Coyote swap, 6R80 transmission, coilover suspension, and a full lineup of TOMS OFFROAD parts. Tom was instrumental in helping me get my first Bronco, and he always encouraged employees to own Broncos themselves, knowing the value of having passionate, knowledgeable team members.
In 2010, I became warehouse manager, adding purchasing and product development to my responsibilities. When the company moved locations in 2015, Kevin Astell and I took the lead in preparing the new facility, setting up the warehouse and improving the layout for efficiency and growth. In 2021, I was promoted to Warehouse Director. Then, during another move in 2023, I transitioned into the role of Senior Sales Director, helping to bring technical expertise and hands-on Bronco knowledge to the sales team after the departure of several long-term employees. And in 2025, I embraced a new challenge as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, I’m committed to helping lead TOMS OFFROAD forward, preserving the values that built our company while expanding our reach and support across the entire Bronco and Early Ford Truck community.
Jason Dady
Sales Director
I have always had a passion for Off-Roading since I was around 10 years old; I was VERY drawn to the OBS Ford Pickups at the time (92-97), and made it a goal to one day own one (I have owned 12 as of current). The walls of my bedroom were literally covered with articles/pictures from Petersen's Offroad Magazine. Mostly all OBS Trucks, however, I had several Early Broncos posted up as well. I was truly obsessed. Though I pursued a degree in Criminal Justice and became a Patrol Deputy, my heart wasn't in it. I knew deep down I wanted to do something that involved automotive/offroading. That opportunity came in 2007, when my brother-in-law Lonnie, who had been working at Tom’s Offroad, as well as Tom, offered me a position as a Sales Associate. I jumped at the opportunity!
Like many others' at TOMS, I have worn several hats over the years. I started in sales, and then took charge of selling tons of parts on eBay, dived into Website Management, began purchasing new parts, and also began sourcing used parts for resale from various locations across the country. In 2009, I acquired my first Bronco - a 1966 project that I still own today. I knew right away that it was going to be a work in progress, however, I knew this would be a great opportunity to build my career with Toms even deeper, strengthening my technical skills as well as my connection with the Bronco community. I don't think there is one bolt on my Bronco that hasn't been touched. Motor swaps, axles swaps, transmission swaps... the list goes on and on! In 2019, my wife Shauna and I added a 1971 Bronco to the family for her. With this increased knowledge, I have also been able to answer most all of the emails that come into us on a daily basis.
In 2023 I was promoted to Sales Director, something I take great pride in. At TOMS OFFROAD customer service isn't just a motto; it is a mindset that Tom himself instilled in all of us from day one. I have been truly blessed to be part of such an amazing company for the last 18 years. It's been an honor to serve the Bronco community, and I am excited to keep supporting both longtime enthusiasts and the next generation of Bronco fans for years to come.
Matt Hardy
Quality Assurance Director
I was 15 and eager for my first car. While discussing options with my parents, my uncle suggested, “Why don’t you get him a '70s Bronco?” We went to look at one locally—a mildly lifted, 351W-powered custom half-cab beast with a fresh coat of turquoise paint. The seller proudly boasted about being able to burn out in 4WD, and that was the end of the conversation. “It’s too much machine for a 16-year-old,” my dad said—but I was hooked.
Less than a year later, I had finally worn my parents down and was allowed to get my first Bronco—a 1975 Blue Ranger, purchased from Tom. I still own it to this day. That Bronco became a great learning experience for me, from basic maintenance and buffing the paint to full engine and transmission replacements.
I had been buying parts from Tom for about six years when I heard they were hiring. I submitted my résumé and was hired in 2002, part-time, while earning my associate degree at the local community college. I think I was the 13th employee at the time—how things have changed since then! I started in the back shop, preparing and packaging parts for shipment. Over the years, I’ve done everything from inventory and manufacturing to mechanic work and sales. My current role is focused on R&D, though at TOMS, we all wear many hats on a daily basis.
I’ve made countless great memories with my Bronco and continue to meet amazing people through the Bronco community. My fondest moments have been wheeling the Rubicon and Moab with my wife and friends. When I talk to other Bronco owners, I always encourage them to build their vehicles to be used and enjoyed however they see fit—to make memories with family and friends, just like I’ve done for decades.
Ernesto Bugarin
Senior Director of Administration
I embarked on my journey with TOMS OFFROAD in 2003, entering the world of four-wheel-drive Broncos with only a small amount of knowledge. However, it didn’t take long for me to develop a passion for these remarkable vehicles!
Over the past 22 years, time has flown by, and the atmosphere at the shop has always felt warm and inviting, resembling a close-knit, family-run business. Every team member offers support and encouragement, creating a genuine sense of community, which I cherish deeply.
I began my career here in sales, where I managed internet orders, and worked diligently to climb the ranks to eventually become the front office manager.
In 2021, I was overjoyed to be appointed as the director of sales, a role that allowed me to further explore my passion for the business. By 2023, I was fortunate enough to step into the position of senior director of administration, a role that I find immensely fulfilling and rewarding.
Throughout my time with TOMS OFFROAD, I also owned a stunning blue 1967 Bronco that featured a 2.5-inch lift and a robust 302 engine. I loved taking it on off-road adventures, navigating rugged terrains, and exploring the great outdoors.
When the 6th Generation Broncos were introduced, I faced a bittersweet decision to part with my beloved '67 Bronco. I replaced it with a striking red Base 2023 model, which was a thrilling upgrade. However, my excitement didn’t stop there; after a brief time, I sold the 2023 Base model and decided to elevate my experience even further with a 2024 Wildtrak, which has provided an exhilarating ride.
I eagerly anticipate where my Bronco and career adventure will lead me next, ready to embrace new experiences and challenges along the way!
