New Turn Signal Switch for 66-73 Factory Steering Columns with Manual Transmission or 73 Bronco with Automatic Transmission. If you are unsure if your steering column is 66-73 or 74-77 style, look at the side of the shift collar and check for an emergency flasher switch. If there is no switch on the side of the column, you need the 66-73 Turn Signal Switch. If there is a switch on the side, you will want to buy our 74-77 Turn Signal Switch.

We do recommend the purchase of anti-seize for the horn contacts for smooth operation.

I just replaced my turn signal switch in my 1970 Bronco. It replaced the old one perfectly, but I do have a few suggestions. First, realize that the ends of the wires replace the old ones in the connector and you need to match them up. I cut off the old wires several inches from the connector and took pictures. I also drilled out holes in an old board and put the old wires in the same order. I used a piece of weed-eater cord to run up the steering column, tied on a fishing line and pulled it through and left plenty to make a large loop. I then used the fishing line to pull each wire through one at a time. It gets tricky getting the last several wires through, but it does work. I tried several times to get all the wires to go at once, but I had no luck. Tom's does have a listing of which wires go where if you mix some up.
