AX15 5-speed Manual to Dana 20 Adapter Kit w/Crossmember, 66-77 Ford Bronco

Kit Includes:

-TRANSFER CASE ADAPTER & DANA 20 SHIFTER BRACKET FOR T-SHIFTER. If running a J-Style transfer case with factory shifter it will require significant modification to work. Instead, we recommend running the NV-3550 style twin stick, which is available here.

-FORD TO AX15 BELLHOUSING ADAPTER PLATE & CLUTCH DISC 
-AX15 CROSSMEMBER MOUNT KIT

1. AX15 you supply.
2. No driveline modifications necessary.
3. The AX15 assembly is 1/4 inch shorter than the factory 3 speed or 4 speed.
4. The AX15 is slightly taller than the stock 3 or 4 speed. A 1 inch body lift is recommended for the best
transmission alignment.

The Transmission:

This transmission is manufactured by Aisin Warner. The overall transmission case length is 24.000 inches. The output shaft on this transmission is 23 spline and protrudes approximately .400 inch. This transmission is normally found coupled to the AMC 4.0L 6 cylinder engine and seems to be one of the better transmissions Jeep used, being very capable of handling the horsepower and torque of a V8 engine.  The AX15 transmission has a 1st gear ratio of 3.83 and a 21% overdrive in 5th gear.
