NEW heavy duty rear axle housing for Ford 9 inch differentials. This custom new housing is made for TOMS OFFROAD. It is designed after the factory 1977 Ford Bronco 9 inch Rear Housing which has a more stout center section than the earlier versions. This custom housing is designed for use with 11 inch Drum/Disc Brake systems and is ideal for use with our 31 spline Axles which feature Set 20 Axle Bearings. You can also use this housing with stock big bearing Bronco axles, but you will need to purchase a pair of oils seals (TOMS OFFROAD #2984S) in order to make this work. The housing can be used with both 66-75 Ford Bronco 11 inch Drum setups and 76-77 Ford Bronco 11 inch Drum setups. However, please verify that all components are from the same application (i.e. ALL 66-75 Bronco or ALL 76-77 Bronco).
NOTE: This housing NOW INCLUDES spring perches. It does not include shock mounts. Vent tube is pre-drilled. Instructions are included with the housing with measurements for mounting these components in the stock position. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 800-749-5028 or email us at info@tomsoffroad.com for more info.
