Master Cylinder Mounted Adjustable Proportioning Valve with Bracket

This black aluminum adjustable proportioning valve allows manual adjustment of rear brake pressure by controlling brake fluid flow to the rear brakes. The valve can be dialed up or down to fine tune brake feel and balance based on vehicle setup, tire size, and braking conditions.

This kit includes a mounting bracket that attaches directly to the master cylinder. Driver side and passenger side bracket options are available depending on application. Mounting the valve at the master cylinder makes adjustments quick and simple due to the convenient location.

This valve does not include the pressure differential switch found in standard combination proportioning valves. If used alone, this eliminates the Brake Warning Light function on the dash. It can also be used alongside the factory drum brake junction valve (part number 2635) to retain brake warning light functionality.

The valve includes a brake light pressure switch, which can be used in place of the factory brake pedal switch if needed. This is especially useful on 1966 Broncos where the brake light switch was originally threaded into the master cylinder. Compact and adaptable, this valve is an excellent option for custom brake system applications.
