Frequently Asked Questions

1. Did VIVA Chassis used to be Viva Broncos?
Yes — in March 2022, Viva Broncos was sold and moved to Indiana, where Josh Butcher rebranded the company to VIVA Chassis. Later, we partnered with VIVA Chassis to develop a high-quality rolling chassis featuring TOMS OFFROAD components.

2. How customizable is the chassis?
Very customizable. You can select upgrades, get quotes for options, and even supply your own frame or wheels/tires.

3. Can I supply my own frame?
Yes, you can ship your frame to VIVA Chassis in Wabash, IN (at your expense). They'll inspect and quote for any required sandblasting, refurbishing, or powder coating.
* New frames are supplied by Throttle Down Kustoms.

4. Are all components new?
Most components are new. If not, they’re professionally rebuilt (e.g., transfer case and some transmissions).

5. How does the VIN tag process work?
Each chassis includes a custom VIN tag with the build number. If you have an existing VIN, it can be stamped on the tag. If not, you’ll get the tag pre-stamped with the build number to use later.

6. What is the lead time?
Lead time depends on selected options, whether you're providing a frame, and availability from suppliers.

7. What is the purchasing process?
TOMS OFFROAD collects a $500 reservation hold, refundable within 30 days (a $50 fee applies after that). VIVA Chassis collects the remaining balance and handles upgrade quotes directly.

8. How is the chassis registered?
The chassis matches a 1966–1977 Ford Bronco. Registration varies by state. Usually, a new vehicle without a VIN must be inspected by the DMV to assign one. Check your state’s requirements.
