This Tailgate Assist Kit helps control the drop rate of your truck’s tailgate for smoother, more controlled operation. It works with the factory tailgate cables to reduce sudden tailgate drop and help prevent unnecessary stress on the tailgate assembly.

The kit is custom designed for proper fit and function, using tested components built for repeated use. Installation is simple with included mounting hardware, and no drilling is required unless adding the optional bracket mounting bolt for extra strength.
