TOMS OFFROAD 44 Mag Dana 44 Trail Terminator Housing - 1966-77 Ford Bronco

Part of our Trail Terminator line of extreme-duty off-road Bronco components, the TOMS OFFROAD 44 Mag is a heavy-duty Dana 44 front axle housing built 100 percent in the USA. Designed for serious trail abuse and engineered to exceed the strength of the factory Dana 44 and far outperform the weak Dana 30, this axle housing delivers unmatched durability for early Bronco builds.

The 44 Mag features a ductile iron center casting and heavy-duty axle tubes with factory-style C-wedges for use with stock Bronco radius arm suspension. The tubes measure 3 inches in diameter with .375 inch wall thickness and are fitted with standard outer knuckle C's, allowing reuse of factory Dana 44 knuckles. These housings are custom-built to TOMS OFFROAD specifications and offer significant improvements in strength, geometry, and longevity.

To improve handling and driveline performance, we have added 4 degrees of positive caster to the outer C's and rotated the pinion upward by 2 degrees on the low pinion Dana 44 for better driveshaft angles.
