Speedometer Drive Gear – 16–21 Tooth – 3-Speed Manual & Automatic Transmissions
When tire size or differential gear ratios are changed on your Early Bronco, the factory speedometer reading becomes inaccurate. This can be corrected by installing a speedometer drive gear with a different tooth count. Each tooth on the gear changes the speedometer reading by approximately 5%.
Adding a tooth decreases the speedometer reading, while subtracting a tooth increases it. Available in a range of 16–21 teeth, these gears allow you to properly recalibrate your speedometer after drivetrain modifications. Compatible with 3-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
