SOLID ORIGINAL EARLY BRONCO HARDTOP

Original 1969–1977 Ford Bronco Steel Hardtop – Includes New Glass & Gaskets

For sale is a solid, original Early Bronco factory steel hardtop. This top is in great condition for its age and requires very little work compared with starting from a new reproduction top that requires complete assembly and fitment.

This is the later-style hardtop for 1969–1977 Ford Broncos and is an original Ford top that has never been repainted.

The top will include a complete set of new glass and gaskets, with the buyer able to choose:

The top is very solid overall with only some light surface rust, as shown in the photos. The drip rails are extremely solid. There is one small area of rust on the front mounting lip that should be a straightforward repair.

The top also comes with an additional roof bow that still needs to be properly located and welded into place. Anti-flutter foam will also need to be installed before final assembly.

This hardtop was removed from a one-owner Southern Oregon Early Bronco and stored with the intention of eventually restoring and reinstalling it. After completing a frame-off restoration on the Bronco, I decided to go with an aftermarket soft top instead of the original steel hardtop.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a solid original Early Bronco hardtop without the cost, time, and extensive assembly required with a complete new reproduction top.
