6R80 and 10R80 to Dana 20 Adapter Kit - 1966-77 Ford Bronco

This adapter kit allows you to connect a 6R80 or 10R80 automatic transmission to your factory Dana 20 transfer case. The 6R80 is commonly found in 2009 and newer Ford vehicles equipped with the 3.7L V6, 5.0L Coyote V8, or 6.2L V8 engines. The 10R80 transmission was introduced in 2017 and newer Fords with the 5.0L Coyote engine.

For Bronco owners performing a Coyote 5.0L engine swap, the 6R80 and 10R80 are excellent transmission options due to their compatibility with the Coyote platform and modern performance characteristics. This adapter kit ensures a proper connection to your original Dana 20 transfer case, allowing you to retain factory 4x4 functionality.

NOTE: The 6R80 transmission must be from a 4x4 application for this adapter housing to work.
