New 2nd/3rd Synchro Key & Spring Kit for 66-77 Bronco 3-speed RAT Transmissions. This key & spring kit (also known as inserts & insert springs) holds tension on the 2nd/3rd slider gear in your RAT three-speed manual transmission to ensure it retains in gear. These springs can wear over time and eventually fail. Replacement requires disassembly of the manual transmission. It is a great idea to purchase this kit in conjunction with a 3-speed Manual Transmission Overhaul Kit to avoid a future problem.
