This magnetic door switch kit restores proper operation of AMP PowerSteps by replacing worn or faulty door-trigger components. It ensures consistent deployment and retraction when opening and closing the doors.

Each kit includes both the magnetic reed switch and trigger magnet required to send the correct signal to the PowerStep system. It provides a simple solution to fix inconsistent or non-functioning step activation without replacing the full system.

• This switch has continuity when the magnet is removed, thus connecting the two wires attached in order to "trigger" the computer to activate. When the magnet is close, the reed switch is disconnected, breaking continuity so the two wires attached are not connected.
