Dana 20 Factory Reproduction T-style Shift Rails
Dana 20 Factory Reproduction T-style Shift Rails
These Dana 20 Factory Reproduction T-Style Shift Rails are designed as a direct replacement for your original transfer case components. Built to maintain the integrity and performance of your Dana 20 transfer case, they offer durability and reliability for off-road enthusiasts.
- Precision-machined for accurate fit and function
- Made from high-strength hardened stainless steel for durability
- They can be used with Twin stick shifters, providing 4 Low, Neutral, 4 High, 2 High with the added benefit of a 2 Low option (front wheel digs are not possible w/o interlock removal)
- Shift rails work with a single stick T-style shifter
The shift rails are also perfect for converting a J-style shift Dana 20 transfer case to a T-shift. When doing a transmission swap, there are more T-Style shifter options specific to each different transmission application.
Ideal for restoring or upgrading your Dana 20 transfer case, these shift rails provide the reliability you need for optimal operation.

Technical Specs
-A T-style transfer case that is unmodified is not able to do front digs when using a twin stick. The interlocks would need to be removed for fully independent function of the front and rear rails. Removing the interlocks can potentially cause the transfer case to pop out of gear more frequently under heavy loads and abuse. Removing the interlocks in order to gain fully independent control of the front and rear shift rails also allows for the potential of the operator to accidentally shift one lever into low while the other is in high, which can cause catastrophic damage to the transfer case or drivetrain.
-The 5083 T-style Twin stick shift rails are ONLY designed to use with a twin stick shifter. They have been modified in a way to allow the full use of the twin stick, independent function of front and rear, while preventing the cross shifting ( one low/ one high). They were designed to help prevent the shift rails from popping out of gear while using a twin stick, while retaining the independent shifting function. They will not function properly with a single stick shifter. These are good for customers who WILL use the FULL function of the twin stick for front wheel digs. Front wheel digs are when the front axle is engaged in low or high range, while the rear is in neutral, allowing the front end to dig or drive around an obstacle or reposition the vehicle on an obstacle for off road driving. It's cool and handy, but not something that is used all the time.
