NP435 Adapter housing to mount a Bronco Dana 20 transfer case. This fabricated adapter housing is a modified version of the 3 speed adapter housing. This adapter housing has been fabricated in order to allow the installation of a Bronco Dana 20 to an NP435. The NP435 is a very strong and reliable 4 speed truck transmission. It has a very low first gear that is great for trail use. These were the "go to" transmission for many decades for off road enthusiast. The granny low first gear combined with the Dana 20's low range made for a competent trail crawler. This adapter housing will require a 28 spline 2 wd output shaft (5040) with the threads cut off. It will also require a V8 style coupler shaft (5105). When using this adapter housing on a NP435 transmission, the drivetrain length will be the same as the factory V8 3 speed combination, so no driveline length changes required. Adapter comes with mounting bolts to the transmission and gasket. A new adapter seal has already been installed in the adapter.
